Symphony of Fate’s Call
yusuf achmad
Suddenly, you emerge in my prayers,
Slipping through worries and sins.
Your shadow trembles in the corridors of sorrow,
Guiding footsteps toward the next page of fate.
You are not life’s enemy, but its companion,
Despised by the keeper of breath,
For they forget—you never break a promise.
At times, you appear with signs—a whisper in the wind.
Signs not always met with readiness,
Sometimes carving wounds beneath the dusk,
Sometimes arriving slowly, waiting in silence,
Sometimes—I wish you’d come like a peaceful night’s sleep.
My soul aches, my plea will never cease,
Let me sail this river, pushing against your quiet tide.
If you dislike being called an adversary,
Then be the destined partner I cannot deny.
Let me walk alongside you,
Let your companion watch over my beloved.
I beg, let your presence be loyal,
Bring happiness until you finally call them away.
Then in the eternal embrace—we unite, never apart.
