Manokwari — The Law Studies Program of Universitas Caritas Indonesia (UNCRI) has scheduled Saturday, 29 November 2025 as the date for the Research Result Seminar and Thesis Examination for final-year students. This academic event is a crucial stage for students aiming to take part in UNCRI’s March 2026 graduation ceremony, and serves as the final period for seminar participants to fulfill all graduation requirements on time.

The Head of the Law Studies Program at UNCRI, Dr. Carina Budi Siswani, S.H., M.H., emphasized that students must immediately register by submitting the required administrative documents. For the Research Result Seminar, students are required to complete the Semester IX Study Plan (KRS), attach their academic transcript, submit four copies of their research manuscript, send the manuscript in Word format along with their presentation materials to the Program Head, and provide proof of seminar payment.
Meanwhile, for the Thesis Examination, the requirements include completing the Semester IX KRS, submitting the latest academic transcript, providing four hard copies of the thesis manuscript, sending the digital manuscript to the Program Head, and preparing proof of payment for the thesis examination.
As part of its academic quality improvement efforts, the UNCRI Law Studies Program has recently earned a “Very Good” accreditation rating from BAN-PT, further affirming the quality of its legal education. This achievement serves as an important foundation for strengthening academic processes, including structured and standardized research seminars and thesis examinations.
In an interview some time ago, the Rector of UNCRI, Prof. Dr. Roberth Kurniawan Ruslak Hammar, S.H., M.Hum., M.M., CLA, reaffirmed that in accordance with UNCRI’s academic procedures, prospective graduates must complete their thesis examination no later than three months prior to the graduation date. This policy ensures the smooth verification of grades, determination of graduation status, and preparation of academic documents without obstacles.
Students are encouraged to make the most of this opportunity. The research seminar at the end of November will be the final agenda for those wishing to join the March 2026 graduation.
The implementation of the seminar and thesis examination reflects the commitment of UNCRI’s Law Studies Program to support students in completing their studies on time, through transparent, professional, and quality-assured academic mechanisms.
UNCRI continues to strengthen an excellent, structured, and quality oriented academic culture, aligned with its vision to provide quality, relevant, and accessible education for the youth of West Papua.
