Kuala Lumpur – suaraanaknegerinews.com| Three editors from Suara Anak Negeri have achieved remarkable international recognition after their works were selected among the Top 200 Writers out of more than 4,000 participants from four countries—Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei Darussalam.

This proud announcement was made during the launch of the anthology “Tiga Serumpun,” titled Akar Serumpun Anyaman Rasa, held on October 12. The event was organized by SIP Publishing, Yayasan Rumah Indonesia Menulis, Komunitas Galeri Sastra (KGS), and the Persatuan Penulis Negeri Melaka (PENAMA).

Leni Marlina, one of the nominated writers and an editor of Suara Anak Negeri News.Com, shared this honor with her colleagues Yusuf and Eka Teresia.

The Director of Suara Anak Negeri, Mr. Paulus Laratmase, expressed immense pride in his editorial team’s achievement:

“We are truly proud that three of our editors’ works have been recognized at the international level. This proves that Indonesian writers—especially those from our media—possess the quality and creative strength to compete regionally,”
said Mr. Paulus.

The selection process was highly competitive. From over 4,000 submitted manuscripts, only 2,033 passed the initial curation stage, and ultimately, 200 poems were chosen as the finest and announced during the book launch and through official social media channels.

Adding to the celebration, one of the nominated editors, Eka Teresia, also won First Place in the International Poetry Reading Competition, which featured participants from the same four nations. Her victory not only highlighted her individual talent but also reflected the multi-dimensional artistry of the Suara Anak Negeri editorial team.

This collective success serves as an inspiration for young Indonesian writers to continue creating, daring to shine on international stages, and strengthening the cultural bonds among the Malay Archipelago through the shared language of literature and art.
